Download DrawingManager

A powerful local application that indexes Solid Edge files from your computer, SharePoint, Dropbox, and other cloud drives. No server required.

System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • .NET Framework 4.8 or higher
  • 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
  • 500 MB available disk space
  • Internet connection for activation and cloud drive access
  • Optional: SharePoint, Dropbox, or OneDrive for cloud indexing

Installation Instructions

  1. 1.

    Download the installer

    Click the download button above to get the latest installer.

  2. 2.

    Extract zip file

    Right click the downloaded file and click extract all.

  3. 3.

    Run the installer

    Double-click the setup.exe file and follow the installation wizard.

  4. 4.

    Sign in to activate

    Launch DrawingManager and sign in with your account credentials to verify your subscription. If you don't have an account, you can create one on drawingmanager.net

  5. 5.

    Select location of Solid Edge program

    Point DrawingManager to your Solid Edge (edge.exe) program, C -> ProgramFiles -> Siemens -> Solid Edge 2026 -> Program -> Edge.exe

  6. 6.

    Create new library

    Create new library file in DrawingManager: File -> New Library -> Save(your-library.dmlx)

  7. 7.

    Add folder paths

    Add all folders paths where DrawingManager should look for Solid Edge Files.

  8. 8.

    Update Library

    Hit the Update library button, the first update can take some time depending on number of files.
